Levi-Strauss Levi's 1940s - '50s Era Vintage Advertising Ink Blotter Trade Card

Vintage Original Levi's Blue Jeans Ink Blotter showing a cowboy resting after a day on the trail.
This is a trade card type item designed and printed for Levi-Strauss for an advertising or promotional giveaway for retailers. It is not a reprint or reproduction. It dates from the late 1940s or early 1950s. This blotter measures 6-1/4" by 2-3/4" and has the tag line: "For Solid Comfort Levi's America's Finest Overall". This blotter has been stored in the original box in which it was mailed to the retailer, and was never used for its intended purpose, or otherwise stored. I've listed it as "Used" only because of its vintage age -- around 70 years old. On the pink blotter side, there are areas where printer's ink transferred from the facing blotter in the packing box. There are also areas of very slight paper aging that can be seen on the blotter side, but not on the image side. In overall very fine condition.
